ECOLUTION® has been an eco-focused hemp products
manufacturer since 1990 in Transylvania, Romania, where
we have developed our factory from the ground-up. Romania
is an Eastern European democracy that
entered the European
Union in 2007. Our production here is politically, socially,
economically, and environmentally responsible. ECOLUTION®
firmly believes in fair trade and has always dealt respectfully
with our employees, ensuring that they have non-toxic,
safe, well-heated, and well-lit working conditions --
and, of course, we do not employ children. Furthermore,
our employees have opportunity for advancement, as their
work is appreciated and rewarded. Because we officially
employ our workers and pay all taxes for their labor,
the Romanian government provides them with medical insurance
and pension coverage. On the US side of our enterprise,
we provide all full-time employees with health insurance.

ECOLUTION® is bringing respectful and progressive
employment to Romania, and we are helping these people
to develop an ancient resource, produced by them for millennia,
into a competitive industry for the future.
Originally we began with a couple of old sewing machines
and worked with vintage fabric scraps to make a line of
bags and hats. The creation of this embryonic factory
was financed with money earned planting trees in California.
From these roots, we have grown organically into the intricately
interwoven and vertically integrated hemp factory of today.
Our integration of production with market provides you
an authentic and quality product fashioned in a socially,
politically, and ecologically responsible manner. ECOLUTION®
maintains its operations in harmony with the preservation
of our beautiful planet. |

Fiber-by-fiber, yarn-by-yarn, and stitch-by-stitch we
strive to produce the highest quality and most natural
hempen goods. We weave and knit our fabrics in-house and
create a broad selection of beautiful products both from
these fabrics and directly from hemp yarns. Over the years,
these have matured into the products that grace the ECOLUTION®
line today: the elegant and sophisticated, the practical
and sturdy, the casual and comfortable in a dozen different
product categories. We have created increasingly sophisticated
premium-quality products as one idea, skill, and technological
innovation has led to another over the years. This dynamic
process has created an exciting and diverse line of unique
products, which is always evolving into more products
and innovations. Each development provides us with an
opportunity to adapt what we learn to other products,
allowing us to constantly evolve to the ever-changing
demands of the market.

with age, like a fine wine that softens in time - until
they finally return their biodegradable selves back to
the earth from which they came.

ECOLUTION® maintains a very large stock of products
in our Santa Cruz, California warehouse. We provide a
turnaround time of a few days on most orders, and if we
are sold out of a size or color, we work to produce it
for our next incoming shipment. We receive shipments every
couple of weeks and have developed an excellent system
for managing inventory, production, and the tracking of
back orders. This capability is rather remarkable for
such a broad and diverse selection of products. It allows
you, our customer, to restock |
hot items quickly and maximize sales, while also giving
you the flexibility not to have to make massive seasonal
orders in advance for items that may not yet be proven
in your stores. ECOLUTION®'s direct mill control
allows us to offer a very extensive and effective
full-scale custom order and private label program.
We provide creative design and special fabrics and
colors, in addition to labeling and packaging of
all sorts. ECOLUTION® can
also deliver cost- effective direct shipments from our
factory to countries outside of the US or to large domestic
customers. |
